Public Prosecutor Moves To Lift Immunity Of Two Hungarian MPs
Hungary’s chief public prosecutor Péter Polt has asked parliament to suspend the immunity of two lawmakers over pending criminal investigations against them.

Fidesz lawmaker István Boldog is under investigation over his suspected involvement in influencing the outcome of tenders for European Union funds, the chief public prosecutor’s office told MTI.

The other lawmaker, Jobbik’s Gergely Kalló, is suspected of spray-painting over campaign posters ahead of last year’s European parliament elections, causing over 280,000 forints’ (EUR 774) worth of damage.
