Index.hu reports that the hospital has been providing an extra benefit with the 180% hourly rate for those working in high-risk areas from the first day of the coronavirus epidemic.
As the hospital is one of the largest centres of Covid-19 treatment, with 140-150 inpatients, the measure affected a large number of employees, the management told Index.
As the epidemic subsides and the number of infected people decreases, the burden on those working in emergency wards is now significantly lower, the hospital administrators said.
They added, therefore the extra high hourly wage has now changed to a high wage of 150%, “which is still among the highest (in Budapest)”.
