Tamás Menczer, the foreign ministry state secretary for external relations, has called on Slovakia’s foreign minister to be “respectful in how he talks about Hungarians”.
Hungarians have good abilities to cope with crises, President Katalin Novák said at a reception held in honour of foreign ambassadors accredited to Hungary, late on Wednesday.
In case the matter of Hungary’s Erasmus funding is not resolved, Hungary will file a lawsuit at the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) over the resolution suspending the programme, the head of the Prime Minister’s Office said.
President Katalin Novák said she would continue to promote support for families and family values as a president, in a Christmas interview on Monday.
