The United States has not cancelled the peace summit with Russia planned for Budapest, the timing alone is questionable, but preparations against fake news are still underway, said Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, following his meeting with his American counterpart in Washington on Wednesday 22 October.
The regional investigative prosecutor's office of Budapest has begun seizing evidence from Peter Juhasz, a former politician, in connection with its investigation of the case of the Szolo Street young offenders institution, the central investigative chief prosecutor's office (KNYF) said.
The city of Budapest has been awarded the EU Mission Label given by the European Commission for the comprehensive road-map it has prepared to reach climate neutrality, the mayor’s office said.
Péter Magyar, deputy leader and EP list-leading candidate of the Respect and Freedom (Tisza) party, said the Tisza party would prove to the Hungarian people that politics “can be beautiful, just and honest”.
