Blood Supplies Nearly Depleted In Hungary, Donations Invited
The blood supply service is asking everyone to donate blood, if possible, due to a shortage.

The National Blood Supply Services are only providing blood preparations for urgent interventions after the four-day weekend, because blood supply levels have significantly decreased due to the coronavirus epidemic and the summer holidays.

The Services ask everyone who feels healthy and has not been abroad in the past 14 days to donate blood.

The Services pointed out that blood donations may be the only hope for some patients to stay alive and recover.

All those who wish to donate blood may find the location closest to their home at www.ovsz.hu, www.voroskereszt.hu or www.veradas.hu.
