Covid Update: 156,096 Active Cases 195 New Deaths In Hungary

3,456 new cases were confirmed. The number of people infected with the corona virus in Hungary now stands at 523,578. The number of deaths stands at 17,421 while the number of those recovered now stands at 359,061.
156,096 is the number of active infected, 10,284 patients are hospitalized, 1128 of them are on ventilators.
Vaccination is ongoing, with 1,397,342 people vaccinated, of which 406,746 have already received their second vaccination.
We are in a steep ascent of the third wave of the epidemic, the British virus mutant is spreading very fast, there is a significant increase in the number of active infections and hospital patients, which is why the government has decided to tighten restrictions.
The additional protection measures that took effect in until 22 March are:
* Wearing a mask is mandatory on all streets and public areas within the residential area.
* If possible, keep a protective distance of at least 1.5 meters from the other person.
* Work is possible, but where possible, we recommend working from home. In the state administration, work from home can be ordered, except for those who contribute to the defense.
The evening curfew is still in force between 8pm and 5am. One case of exemption from the curfew is work, which, however, needs to be justified.
