Covid Update: 189,244 Active Cases 252 New Deaths In Hungary

5,481 new cases were confirmed. The numbe703 while the number of those recovered now stands at 378,176.
189,244 is the number of active infected, 11,873 patients are hospitalized, 1,389 of them are on ventilators.
Vaccination is ongoing, with 1,636,436 people vaccinated, of which 481,820 have already received their second vaccination.
We are in a steep ascent of the third wave of the epidemic, the British virus mutant is spreading very fast, there is a significant increase in the number of active infections and hospital patients, which is why the government has decided to tighten restrictions.
The additional protection measures that took effect until 28 March are:
* Wearing a mask is mandatory on all streets and public areas within the residential area.
* If possible, keep a protective distance of at least 1.5 meters from the other person.
* Work is possible, but where possible, we recommend working from home. In the state administration, work from home can be ordered, except for those who contribute to the defense.
The evening curfew is still in force between 8pm and 5am. One case of exemption from the curfew is work, which, however, needs to be justified. Sample certificate can be downloaded here.
