As the epidemic is getting worse, the government should consider temporarily closing shopping malls and schools, the National Health Centre’s head of epidemiology Ágnes Galgóczi said on HírTV on Friday.
“For instance, perhaps shops should be closed for two weeks, keeping only grocery stores, pharmacies, post offices and banks open” she said.
Galgóczi also suggested that all schools be closed for two weeks.
“Even such a short period can bring spectacular results in reducing the number of infections”, she remarked.
