Danubius Prepares For Hotel Openings
Danubius Hotels and its health spa units will reopen four hotels in the countryside from May 13, the hotel chain announced on Monday.

Ensana Thermal Margitsziget and Danubius Hotel Helia in Budapest are already open to business travellers and they will soon allow guests for leisure.

The Ensana hotels in Hungary’s thermal spa towns Hévíz and Sárvár and two Danubius hotels in Bük and Balatonfüred will be open from May 13.

“We have reached a milestone,” said CEO Balázs Kovács, adding, however, that due to border closures the company is unable to open new hotels in Budapest.

Domestic guests are mainly booking in hotels outside the capital, he added.

Danubius Hotels is owned by UK-based CP Holdings, which has interests in five countries in Europe.

Its Ensana brand currently includes 26 spa hotels in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia.
