All types of passes on state railway company MÁV and state coach service Volán will be abolished from March 1, as only countrywide and county passes will be available, Construction and Transport Minister János Lázár announced at a press conference held with mayor László Papp in Debrecen.
The Budapest transport centre BKK on Friday signed agreements with suburban railways operators MÁV-HÉV and with national coach operator Volán which ensures that the current system of tariffs will remain in force, BKK said.
The new 2022/2023 train and bus timetable of the MÁV-Volán group will enter into force on December 11, the transport company announced last weekend, according to profitline.hu.
BKK Centre for Budapest Transport is testing a new solution to make it easier and more convenient for customers using digital tickets to board. The company will allow passengers to validate products purchased with BudapestGO after boarding trams 4 and 6 with stickers placed in the passenger compartment.
