Xploring Hungary Video: 'RepTár' Aviation Museum in Szolnok
Originally the museum focused on military aviation but later civil and utility aircraft were introduced to the collection which is divided into two: the open air part, and a separate indoor area with weaponry, uniforms and photographic collections.

Also, the museum stores the remains of a number of Second World War warplanes shot down over Hungary and it plays a leading role in salvaging and conservation of such wrecks, according to Wikipedia.

Visitor feedback includes:

"Very informative. The guide had a lot of knowledge. Great to have a sit in the MIG aircraft!"

"The museum is modern and set out very well to cater to enthusiasts and has a lot to offer for children. The range of Cold War era helicopters, jets and air defense systems is simply amazing. To be able to walk around and touch everything is a rarity and I cant recommend this highly enough. Expect it to fill a whole day if you are coming from Budapest."
