At last, the moment we've all been waiting for when the doors of Müpa Budapest open again and we can enjoy the unparalleled Müpa Budapest experience again. On the occasion of the reopening for summer, they have lined up an exciting programme for June and July.

To Xpats from Müpa: We're welcoming the stunning Latvian opera diva Elīna Garanča - pictured above -, while there are also surprises in store for fans of contemporary circus and jazz.

We are living in extraordinary times, but some things never change: for the 2021/22 season, world stars and outstanding members of Hungarian cultural life will take their turns on stage at Müpa Budapest.

The big names include Zubin Mehta, Anna Netrebko, Christian Thielemann, Anoushka Shankar, Emőke Baráth, Ferenc Snétberger, Valery Gergiev, Jacob Collier, Joyce DiDonato, Paavo Järvi, Pat Metheny, Avishai Cohen and Denis Matsuev.

As a one off, those who only wish to buy one ticket for a concert don't have to wait as we are not offering season tickets for the 2021/22 season: tickets for individual concerts can be purchased separately this year.

Ticket sales for this season's performances will take place in steps.

First, tickets will be made available for performances this year, that is up to 31 December 2021.

From 10 am on Tuesday, 22 June 2021, platinum-level members of the Müpa+ membership programme will be able to purchase priority tickets, with the gold level joining them from 10 am on 23 July and the silver level being granted access from 2 pm.
