Wolt to Deliver Groceries from September in Hungary
Hot food delivery company Wolt will tap the grocery market in September, CEO Ákos Tajta told Pénzcentrum in an interview.

Under the service named Wolt Market, customers can order basic groceries from the company’s own stores through the Wolt platform.

The service will first be made available in Budapest, Tajta said.

The number of Wolt customers did not change after the reopening of restaurants and there was little change in the number of couriers, which stands at 4,500-5,000.

Tajta said the company sees huge growth potential in the delivery of non-food items on a commission basis from other retailers.
