Matild Palace awaits guests with authentic Thanksgiving and Christmas gastronomic experiences and two great glittering New Year Eve's parties in the festive season.

The three-course Thanksgiving menu can be tasted on 25th November at Spago Budapest, while a traditional American dinner for 4-6 people can be enjoyed in the warmth of our home.

During the month of December you can enjoy a three-course Christmas lunch, while on 24th December a Christmas Eve dinner and on 25th a special festive lunch will be offered at the restaurant.

If locals or tourists want to ring in the New Year and party in style at the chicest places of the city, they may join the "Licence to Party" in Spago Budapest or enjoy a breathtaking acrobatic show, dancers and live music in the unmatched atmosphere of the historical Matild Café & Cabaret.

Thanksgiving

Spago Budapest’s team will prepare traditional festive dishes for Thanksgiving. On 25th November, guests may taste a special three-course Thanksgiving lunch and dinner.

Among others Pumpkin Soup, enriched with King Prawns, and Grilled Turkey with Mashed Ratte Potatoes, Green Beans, Cranberry and Gravy appear on the menu.

From 17th to 30th November, Spago's takeaway Thanksgiving Family Feast offer may be ordered: the traditional Thanksgiving dinner menu for 4-6 people will bring authentic American flavours into homes. 

The menu includes Pumpkin Soup as a starter, a whole Slow Roasted Bronze Turkey with various garnishes and Apple or Pumpkin Pie, as well as wine pairing options to the festive dishes.

Christmas

Wolfgang Puck’s Budapest restaurant will also offer special festive menus during the Christmas period. From 1st to 23rd December on weekdays, between 12:00 and 15:00, a three-course Christmas lunch with cured trout filet, braised beef cheek, and gingerbread créme brûlée will be served, and guests will be greeted with a gift of a traditional Bundt Cake.

On 24th December from 18:00 to 22:00, guests may enjoy a four-course à la carte menu, while on 25th December between 12:30 and 16:30, a special à la carte menu will be offered at Spago Budapest.

Guests can ring in the New Year with a 5-course refined dining experience followed by an unforgettable magical night filled with glitter, shimmering feathers, champagne, and more…

They will be amazed by a breathtaking acrobatic show, dancers, and live music by the Latte Maffiato band in an unmatched atmosphere of the historical Matild Café & Cabaret. A five-course festive gourmet menu will be served, created by Executive Chef, Franz Pichler and his team; followed by a party until the early hours.
