Fidesz Lead Over Opposition Widens After Hungarian Election, Says Nézőpont
The ruling Fidesz-Christian Democrat (KDNP) parties would win 56% of the votes, while the united opposition would garner 34% if the elections were held this Sunday, the daily Magyar Nemzet said citing a recent poll by the Nézőpont Institute.

According to the representative poll conducted over the phone on a sample of 1,000 adults, the radical Mi Hazánk (Our Homeland) party would again pass the parliamentary threshold with 5% of the votes, and the Two-tailed dog party would win 3%, Nézőpont said.

Meanwhile, if the parties of the united opposition ran independently, only the Momentum Movement (6%) and the Democratic Coalition (5%) would make it to parliament, the pollster said.

Jobbik would garner 3%, while the Socialists and LMP around one percent. Support for an independent Párbeszéd party is negligible, Nézőpont said.
