Pro-Ukraine Demonstration Gets Higher Turnout Than Pro-Russian One
Two separate demonstrations related to the war were held on early Saturday afternoon in Budapest not far from one another, reported Telex.

The Ukrainian Cultural Association of Hungary and the United Ukrainian Association held a pro-Ukraine rally at 1pm at Deák Square, while an hour later, a demonstration in solidarity with Russia began at 2pm at Freedom Square.

Shortly after 2:30pm, the two groups came close to one another after the pro-Ukrainian demonstrators marched from Deák Square to Martyrs’ Square.

Telex‘s field correspondent reported that there were around 200 people at the pro-Russian rally, while the one in favor of Ukraine drew around five times that many, with Ukrainians also present in the crowd.
