Students Forced to Sit Exam in 6C Degree Temperature at Budapest University
Students at the Faculty of Humanities of Eötvös Loránd University had to sit for a written exam in 6C temperature on Monday.

“We were trembling from the cold,” the students claimed.

One of them said they could no longer feel their toes or fingers.

The university says the exam had to be transferred to the building due to a technical problem, adding that the temperature there was 15-16C.

The Faculty of Humanities announced in November that written exams would take place at the university library, the attached high schools and at external locations with the permission of the dean, in an effort to save energy costs.
