Two Hungarians Dead of Cold Exposure in Spain
Two Hungarian women were found dead on Monday afternoon in the Sierra Nevada in Spain, apparently victims of exposure to cold, Madrid newspaper EL Pais reported.

The bodies of the 55- and 57-year-old women with Hungarian documents were found near the ski hotel owned by the University of Granada, about 200 metres from shelter, under a pine tree.

The women were wearing appropriate clothing for hiking in cold weather, and no signs of violence were found on them, so it is assumed that they froze to death after they got lost while hiking.

The Hungarian consulate has been informed about the bodies and the documents found, so that officials can take the necessary steps to find possible relatives and to repatriate the bodies.

Local sources said the women did not have a registered address in the area.
