New Observation Deck Opens on Top of Tallest Building in Budapest
The visitor center of the MOL Group’s new headquarters in Budapest and the panoramic terrace (SkyDeck) on the top floor of the building will be open to the public from Friday, the company’s press office announced.

The country’s tallest building is home to MOL Group, Hungary’s oil and gas company.

Visitors can reach the observation deck on the 29th floor, 120 meters above sea level, by a panoramic lift. The price of an adult ticket is  2900 forints (7.68 euros), while children under 6 and wheelchair users are admitted free of charge.

Discounts are also available for students, over 60s, families, and groups. Visitors can only buy tickets online.

Hungary Today

Launched online long after XpatLoop.com, this 'government-related' source states its aim is "to provide a complete, unbiased picture of Hungary”. However the site also says that this “does not necessarily mean that our writers do not have their own opinions,” which is useful for our readers to keep in mind. Another stated aim expressed is to become “the leading English-language news portal of Hungary”, which is a role that XpatLoop has successfully fulfilled independently for well over two decades. That noted, our team is open to occasionally sharing a useful Hungary Today article - with their permission of course - for the benefit of our readers.
