OMV to Set Up More E-Car Fast-Chargers in Hungary & Region

Romanian company OMV Petrom, a subsidiary of Austrian energy company OMV, is developing its electric vehicle charging network in Romania, Slovakia, and Hungary with an investment of €40 million, including €15 million from EU subsidies, Portfolio reports.
The company with 150 charging stations already operating, will install an additional 328 charge points in Romania, 52 in Slovakia and 28 at seven locations in Hungary.
Each charging point will have a built-in capacity of 150kW, allowing vehicles to be charged in 10-15 minutes for a range of 200km, depending on the model.
