Covid in Hungary: Coronavirus Levels Rising in Wastewater of Budapest South Pest, Debrecen, Győr, Kaposvár & More
The concentration of the genetic material of the coronavirus in wastewater continues to rise, the National Centre for Public Health and Pharmaceuticals announced.

Increases were registered in the supply area of the Budapest South Pest Wastewater Treatment Plant, in Debrecen, Győr, Kaposvár, Nyíregyháza, Pécs, Salgótarján, Szeged, Székesfehérvár and Szombathely.

It was also announced that the concentration of the genetic material of the coronavirus is in the “elevated” range in 17 locations, and in the “moderate” range in five settlements.

    Air quality is now “dangerous” in many parts of Hungary, according to the national public health centre (NNGYK). Air quality is qualified as “dangerous” in the Sajó valley, in Putnok, Kazincbarcika, Sajószentpéter and Miskolc, as well as in Nyíregyháza and Kaposvár, the centre said.
