Buy Now, Pay Later: Instalment Payments Service Enters Hungary
Klarna, the Swedish AI-based global payment and shopping service provider, has entered the Hungarian market.

The fintech company allows clients to buy products and pay over time. Customers pay a third of the price at the time of purchase and pay the next two interest-free instalments 30 and 60 days later.

So-called buy now, pay later (BNPL) platforms have become popular short-term instalment loans, as they allow consumers to spread purchase costs over time, website mmonline adds.

Klarna can be used to make payments at Orsay fashion brand stores, as well as Footshop, Zoot, and Puma.

More retailers and additional brands are expected to join in the coming weeks.
