CineFest: International Film Festival in Hungary to Open on Sept 1st
The CineFest international film festival, organised for the 19th time this year, in Miskolc, in northern Hungary, will showcase 17 films including award winners in Cannes, Venice, Berlin, and Karlovy Vary between September 1 and 9, organisers told MTI.

The festival highlights will include Yorgos Lanthimos’s latest film Poor Things, shot in Hungary, and Barnabás Tóth’s Those Who Remained, nominated for the Academy Awards.

The Goldman Case by French director Cédric Kahn, Perfect Days, Wim Wenders’s new film, and Slovak-Czech coproduction Victim will also be on the festival’s programme.

The organisers said a detailed programme with screening dates would soon be published, while ticket sales are about to start.
