The film aims to present an engaging and action-packed portrayal of the historic events of March 15, beyond the usual textbook narratives. Filming locations included iconic sites in Budapest and other historic cities, with a notable two-billion-forint set built in Fót.

The story follows Bogi, a classical singing student at the Academy of Music in Budapest, who juggles her studies with babysitting her cousin’s children, leading to a critical turning point on the day of her major exam.

Ádám Breier directs “The Lefkovics are Mourning,” a bittersweet dramedy featuring Tamás Lefkovics, a boxing coach estranged from his son. The much-anticipated TV series “Hunyadi,” based on Bán Mór‘s novels, is set to premiere in fall 2024. This ambitious project, likened to “Game of Thrones” but without dragons, is a historical mega-production about János Hunyadi‘s life, featuring a multilingual cast and a budget of HUF 10.5 billion.

Animating a Classic in “Csongor and Tünde”

Cinemon Entertainment brings to life a classic Hungarian poem in the animated feature “Csongor and Tünde.” This film fulfills a cultural mission by making Mihály Vörösmarty‘s complex and symbolic work accessible to a wider audience, using the original plans and screenplay by Attila Dargay.
