Home Rental in Hungary Up Significantly - Average Monthly Rates Revealed
Home rental rates in Hungary rose 9.9pc year-on-year in August, data compiled by the Central Statistics Office (KSH) from listings site Ingatlan.com show.

Rental rates in the capital increased 9.1pc.

In a month-on-month comparison, home rental rates rose 0.5pc for the whole country and edged up 0.1pc in Budapest.

The monthly rental rate for a flat in the capital averaged HUF 250,000 in H1.

A home in a large city in the west of the country could be rented for HUF 178,000/month.
