Top Trades & Turnover: Exactly How Did Budapest Stock Exchange Perform Last Year?

Share turnover on the Budapest Stock Exchange came to HUF 2,960bn in 2024, the bourse said.

Wood+Company brokered the highest volume of trades during the year, with double-counted turnover of HUF 1,460bn. Concorde was runner-up, followed by Erste Befektetesi.

Alone in December share turnover came to HUF 231bn and daily turnover averaged HUF 13.6bn.

Wood+Company brokered the highest volume of trades during the month, with double-counted turnover of HUF 146bn. Concorde was runner-up with turnover of HUF 126bn, followed by Erste Befektetesi with HUF 74bn.

The Budapest Stock Exchange's main BUX index finished the year 30.9pc higher.
