Hungarian Reformed Church Aid Launches Integration Programme for Citizens from Third Countries in Hungary
The Hungarian Reformed Church Aid (MRSZ) is launching a complex integration scheme for citizens from third countries who stay in Hungary legally, the organisation said.

The scheme to be carried out under the arrangements of the Szechenyi Plan Plus Programme will "focus on developing intercultural competencies, social work, labour market integration and closing the gap in schooling", it said in a statement.

The participants will receive from the MRSZ labour market advice, competence development, European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) courses, support to obtain a driving licence, and citizenship and cultural skills training, it added.

The scheme will help participants establish an independent and self-supportive life in Hungary, and develop the necessary skills, so people from third countries staying legally in Hungary will get a better chance for integration in Hungarian society.

The programme will run between January 1 and December 31 this year, and it received co-financing in the form of 186.58 million forints non-refundable support from the European Union.
