Nearly 1 Million Passengers Enjoy MAV's Catering Services in Hungary

Last year almost 1m passengers availed of the "Utasellato" catering services of MAV Group’s on-board restaurants and bistro cars, the state-owned railway company said on Sunday.
MAV said that more than a hundred trains operated daily with dining or premium and bistro train cars on international and domestic routes.
The buffet service typically offers passengers cold drinks, simpler meals, sweets and coffees, while the dining cars offer restaurant-style food and service.
In 2024 around 22,000 hamburgers were sold, more than 280,000 pints of beer, and almost 70,000 chocolate bars.
