Kincsem Park Suggested as Budapest Pride Location by Justice Minister - 'So Children do Not Witness it'

Tuzson said in a video on Facebook that police had banned this year's Budapest Pride march at its originally planned location, because if it is held in central Budapest, children's rights cannot be guaranteed.
"All of which does not mean that the right of assembly cannot be practiced, if children's rights are also fully respected," he said.
As a result, he proposed to the organisers, the police and the ministry of the interior to select a new location for holding the event, and said it could be Kincsem Park, a race course and equestrian venue in Budapest's 7th district.
"Kincsem Park is large and safe, and a march can be held there while making sure that children are not witnessing the event," he said.
