- 6 Jun 2025 8:21 AM

The airline will operate the flight twice a week, Boglarka Illes, a state secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, said at Liszt Ferenc International Airport. Jazeera Airways picked Budapest for the flight as Hungary is a safe country for both investors and tourists, she added.
Jazeera Airways CEO Barathan Pasupathi said Budapest would be the gate to Europe for the airline, adding that the flight was expected to operate more frequently from 2026.
Kuwait City is the seventh destination in the Middle East that can be reached by direct flights from Budapest.
