Free Concerts: 'Bach for All' Festival in Hungary Expands to 300+ Venues this March
This year's Bach for All Festival will take place at more than 300 venues in Hungary and beyond, offering over 500 programmes between March 16 and 31.

The festival opens on March 16 with a concert at the Liszt Academy, featuring two newly added Bach works performed on its historic organ by Laszlo Fassang, Gabor Farkas, Laszlo Kovacs Zalan, and the M-Bridge Trio.

Highlights include a tuba recital by Laszlo Kovacs Zalan at the House of Hungarian Music (March 17), a public chorale singalong with the Budapest Garrison Military Band and Calvin Square Choir (March 21), and Bach and Folk Music, a concert led by Klara Dudas exploring the intersection of Bach's compositions and Hungarian folk traditions (March 25).

Other events, such as Bridge Over Bach in Sumeg and Bach and Liszt in Ecclesiastical Music in Kecskemet, will showcase Baroque, Latin, and folk influences.

The festival's charity initiative this year supports the Peto Institute's Conductive Education School. While all concerts are free, advance registration is required at select venues.
