Home Office for Public Sector Employees in Hungary Ordered by Gov't

The government is ordering home office for public sector employees and calling on other employers to follow suit, Prime Minister Peter Magyar said on Facebook on Sunday.

"The heat will peak from tomorrow. We are mandating work from home for public sector employees, and we ask all employers to do the same whenever possible. We recommend postponing outdoor work," Magyar said.

​​​​​​​The Ukrainian mafia has infiltrated state agencies and has dozens of people in Hungary on its payroll, opposition Fidesz said in a statement on Tuesday, 29 September while Prime Minister Peter Magyar said further questioning should soon follow in the case -- referring to claims by a former chief prosecutor that the seizure of a Ukrainian "gold convoy" last year was politically motivated and ordered by the previous prime minister.
