See What Happened @ Budapest Wine Festival
Budapest’s biggest and most scenic Wine Festival is held in the grounds of Buda Castle, where you can drink in the view and lament about the history while having a fine wine or three.
It’s a great location to discover and enjoy all of Hungary’s different wine regions, it’s reds, whites and rosés... you are really spoilt for choice I’d say.
What you get is a sumptuous mixture of fabulous wines, matched with gourmet food specialities, which makes for a truly authentic Hungarian flavour.
The event is not just wine and food as there’s live performances by local artists as well as some exciting events, and did I mention the breath-taking panorama of Pest?!
This all takes place every September, with the weather still at a warm Mediterranean feel, perfect for one of the most prestigious festivals in Hungary.
Annually visited by tens of thousands of people, all with the same thing in mind, exploring the top-knotch wines of Hungary while taking in the culture of the country, always breathtaking!
