Getronics Wins Road Toll Tender In Hungary

Getronics has won the electronic road toll tender with its Ft 34.98 billion bid, state motorway manager ÁAK announced on Saturday. The contract will probably be signed on December 27, with construction to start in early spring, and the system should be ready by July 1, 2013, ÁAK added. The Liszt Ferenc International Airport had to close on Friday noon as the control tower suffered a blackout caused by water on a transformer. Arriving aircraft were redirected to Vienna or Bratislava, from where coaches picked up passengers. Many departures were cancelled.
