29th Budapest Half Marathon, 14 September

The first Budapest Half Marathon was organised in 1984. During the last 29 years the race grew up into a major event in Budapest with 12 850 runners. 8500 runners on the individual 21 km distance, while others run in pairs or run the shorter distances. Budapest Half Marathon also became a real international event with almost 1600 runners from abroad, from 65 different countries in 2013.

On the 27th June, Daniel Kaali and Brody House co-founder William Clothier head to the Vermont mountains, Pittsfield, USA for an endurance event described by the organisers and founders as, "like no other event on earth."

Fundraising Swim Across Balaton By British Ambassador To Hungary

British Ambassador to Hungary Jonathan Knott is preparing for a charity swim across the Lake Balaton. The high ranking UK diplomat will swim 5200 meters from Révfülöp to Balatonboglár on 6 July with the aim of raising funds for the Hungarian National Lifesavers Service Association (VMSZ) and its British sister agency, the Royal National Lifesavers Institute (RNLI).

His right–wing colleague suggests the ruling was unjust and may stir up anti-Semitism.
