Two pleasure boat companies agreed to pay a total $15 million compensation out of court to Hungarian parents for two children who died in a boating accident two years ago in Delaware. The parents of Dóra S. and Szabolcs P. accepted the sum offered by the pleasure boat company Ride the Ducks and K-Sea, which operates the boat that struck the plaintiffs’ children.

A man was knocked down by a metro carriage at Nyugati station on Monday evening but survived, BKV announced. The man fell in front of the train for hitherto unknown reasons. Shuttle buses carried passengers between Deák tér and Lehel tér until subway traffic returned to normal.

"A 12-year-old Hungarian girl died while skiing near Gerlitz, Austria on Saturday. The girl was reportedly unable to brake to a halt at the end of a slope and smashed into the wooden building where the ticket booth was located.
