Traffic Safety Campaign Launched In Hungary

The initiative was launched in Veszprém last year when car drivers undertook in a statement to pay more attention to safety at zebra crossings.
The ministry says the message of the campaign is partnership between car drivers, pedestrians and cyclists.
National Police spokesman László Garamvölgyi said a large number of pedestrian-related accidents occur at zebra crossings, and police hope for an improvement in traffic safety as a result of the Ft 54 million campaign."
