Parliament’s national security committee was briefed on the activities of foreign intelligence agencies in Hungary on Thursday. Zsolt Molnár, the (Socialist) head of the committee, said after the meeting that although a number of foreign intelligence agencies were present in Hungary, few of them were interested in Hungary as a target country.

The distribution of fake cosmetics, clothes, shoes, records, alcoholic beverages and medications cause annual losses of an estimated 207 billion forints (691.5m euros) to the Hungarian economy, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) reported. EUIPO said that the amount accounted for 12.2% of the total revenue of those sectors.
