Club Akvárium In Budapest Opens On 30 March

1500- and 700-capacity concert halls, music bar, bistro-restaurant and grand terrace: Club Akvárium is all of this in one, opening to the public on March 30 in Erzsébet square, Budapest. On the opening day, symphonic concerts will be presented by Ghymes at 10 AM and Magashegyi Underground at 9 PM.

Budapest’s open-air 'Festival of Bubbles' is on from today, Thursday, until Sunday evening. 25 exhibitors are there with more than 100 bubbly beverages, including champagne, prosecco and many varieties of sparkling wine. New Plans For Erzsébet Tér Venue In Budapest

The downtown Erzsébet tér Cultural Centre and Park will be upgraded with a concert hall seating 1,500 spectators and a studio to host socio-cultural events by next spring, ministerial commissioner Zoltán Guller told a press briefing. The unfinished underground rooms will be completed at a cost of Ft 1.7 billion.
Akvárium Klub Budapest To Shut In August

The popular meeting point of the Hungarian capital will close its doors in August, so a new, multi-faceted cultural and tourist centre can open instead. Starting from the 1st of August, Akvárium Klub on Erzsébet Square will become a state-owned property and will close for an indefinite time period.
