Hungary’s Kelemen Quartet has won Italy’s Premio Paolo Borciani international String Quartet Competition that ended at the weekend, Barnabás Kelemen told MTI. The quartet fetched first prize ahead of nine other ensembles in what is among the world’s most prestigious competitions.

Composed by Ahmed Adnan Saygun, the ‘Bartók of Turkey’ in 1975, Ritual Dance melts elements of Western music and Turkish authentic folk music in a unique way.
