Based on the festival fans’ votes, besides Hungary’s Kecskemét, residents of Slovakia’s Dunajska Streda, Ukraine’s Berehove, Serbia’s Subotica and Romania’s Odorheiu Secuiesc can enter Hegyalja Festival 2013 in Tokaj, Hungary for free between 25 and June, 2013.

Minister for Rural Development Sándor Fazekas presented the accolade to the winner of the Hungarian Landscape Award competition, the Tata-based Által Brook Catchment Area Restoration and Development Association, at a ceremony in Tata on Friday. Second prize was awarded to Szentes local authority for its programme to restore the wildlife of the Kurca watercourse.

The winning cake in 2012 will be officially introduced in St Stephen's Court on 20 August between 14.00-15.00.
