Pilvax Magazine presents the second BUK-A-PEST, the write like Charles Bukowski contest, to honor the spirit of the ‘barroom bard’. Ten performers will square off in Klub Vittula at 8, tonight, May 24, to see who can best imitate the distinctive voice of Bukowski, a man who lived for wine, women, and verse. Afterwards, film director and Sonic Catering Band founder Peter Strickland will DJ until early morning.
