The migration wave hitting Europe and terrorism go hand in hand, the parliamentary leader of ruling Fidesz told a press conference in Debrecen. “What else must happen for the European Union leaders in Brussels to recognise that their migration policy is untenable,” Lajos Kósa said, referring to terrorist attacks in Paris, Brussels and Nice.

Charges have been filed against two French citizens who attempted to steal a stone ornament from the exterior of the Parliament building, Budapest prosecutor general Tibor Ibolya announced on Monday. The 28-year-old woman and 27-year-old man climbed over barriers in the dawn hours of March 29, and crawled under an iron gate to a balcony that is off-limits to visitors.
Army Starts Reinforcing Barriers Along Hungary-Serbia Border

Hungary’s armed forces have started reinforcing barriers on stretches of the Serbian border in response to a recent increase in illegal border crossings, the defence ministry said. The temporary barriers were erected last autumn with a heavy involvement of the army in order to hold back a wave of illegal migrants.
