Regular patrons of The Caledonia Scottish Pub and Becketts Irish Bar got together recently for a Saturday afternoon out with a difference. Courtesy of Farkas Zoltan – best known for being the man behind the bar at The Caley – a mini bus full of excited (yet slightly nervous) guys set off for a few hours shooting at an indoor range in Budapest.

It’s back…it’s black…it’s Becketts. Back in business and serving lots and lots of the black stuff! It was Friday 13th, an ominous day to have an opening party, but with the four leaf clover behind you, nothing deters the folk who love this piece of the Emerald Isle.

After over twenty years, the popular Irish bar will close its doors on Monday for the last time. It came in with a bang and certainly went out with one. And as sure as eggs are eggs, “Becketts” will be back again, not in another lifetime but hopefully very soon.
