By Andi Lustak: The non-smoking ban in Hungary finally came into effect in January in all restaurants and bars and it has already made a huge difference with most establishments complying with the law. The good news is that Hungarians tend to adore children. Everyone, it seems, from the little old lady in the grocery line to the tough-looking security guard makes a big fuss over children. Waiters are generally patient when it comes to dining with children, even when their crying doesn’t make them look so cute anymore. The bad news is that restaurants rarely have children’s menus.
