Every year, forty to fifty thousand people experience the unforgettable atmosphere of the Wine Festival either for the first or the umpteenth time. After last year's slightly modest edition due to Covid, this year (albeit carefully) everyone vaccinated can raise a glass at the 30th anniversary of this special festival.

The joint festival of Müpa Budapest and the Budapest Festival Orchestra always lends an exciting flavour to the start of the new season: besides classical concerts, it also features jazz, popular music and film screenings.
Introductory Concert by the Váray Family, Óbudai Társaskör Budapest, 11 September

Listening to music with the Váray, a talented, lovely family, the day can be spent actively indeed.
Piano teacher mother, cello artist father, the nine-year old plays the piano wonderfully, composes music, improvises jazz tunes, and the youngest child sings beautifully as well.
The audience can listen to and play with the family in the interactive children’s programme of Milán Bolla.
Attacca Concert, Fonó Budapest, 8 September

Attacca Ensemble plays world music - their CD “Világom” was released by Hunnia Records in September of 2020.
Their form of expression is classical music and contemporary jazz, but alongside this kind of compositional thought, authentic Hungarian folk music plays an important part in Attacca’s sound.
