5. Zakopane - This is the Polish destination I mentioned in my last post, which is close enough to the Tátras to combine the two into one trip, if you so desire. This place has it. If you’ve done that and not gone bonkers, then hats off to you. Our problem was, it was winter, and ALL the kids came who were invited (15 plus several siblings). Crowd behavior took over - I couldn’t get them to play the games I had planned.
