The European Police College (CEPOL) is the first EU institution to be headquartered in Budapest, the interior minister said. The premises in central Budapest will be available to CEPOL over the next ten years, as well as relevant funding for the headquarters that offers appropriate working conditions, Sándor Pinter told the inauguration ceremony.

German carmaker Audi launched production of the third-generation TT Roadster model at its plant in Hungary on Wednesday. Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, Audi AG chairman Rupert Stadler and Audi Hungária managing director Thomas Faustmann spoke at the ceremony. Hungarian companies supply 60% of the new model’s content.

In 2014 the Annual Service of Remembrance will be held on Sunday, 9 November. The traditional service and wreath-laying ceremony will take place at the Commonwealth War Cemetery of Solymár at 10:55. Everybody is welcome to attend the ecumenical service. Those who do are kindly requested to arrive at the cemetery no later than 10:45 please. The service lasts approximately 20 minutes.
