Former light-heavyweight and cruiserweight boxing champion Zsolt Erdei will work as a director at the Hungarian Boxing Federation, Magyar Hírlap reports. Erdei has a contract with promoter Lou di Bella until August with two bouts to fight before starting, federation president Sándor Csötönyi told the daily.

Kayaker Natasa Douchev-Janics can compete for Serbia only if she pays €150,000 by October 31, the Hungarian Kayak-Canoe Federation confirmed yesterday. The federation calls the sum “preparation contribution” and said anybody can pay it on Janics’ behalf.

Every member of the group completed the run partnering a runner living with disabilities (people with impaired vision or physical disabilities). The number of participants was 19,200, compared to the previous record of 17,700.
