Free Event: World's Most 'Extreme Electric Race Cars' to be Showcased in Szeged, 14 September
- 29 Aug 2025 9:43 AM
According to a press statement, Szeged is one of the most dynamically developing technology and sustainability centers in Hungary. University research, developments related to electric car production and the city's sustainability efforts provide the perfect backdrop for the country's largest electromobility event, the E Street Parade.
The free event features the latest cars, motorbikes and alternative-powered vehicles, including extreme racing vehicles, on display. It will also host the Go-Karting Grand Prix, the inaugural event for the new discipline and a qualifier for the 2026 FIA Motorsport Games junior category.
The panel discussions and professional presentations will feature automotive experts and racing drivers.
The event will feature guests such as Nick Heidfeld, BMW and Renault Formula 1 and former Formula E driver, and four-time Le Mans winner Sebastian Buemi, multiple Formula E and World Endurance Championship (WEC) champion.
At the event, even the youngest can try out electric go-karts and motorbikes.
The car exhibition and accompanying programs will be held at Széchenyi Square, while the presentations and competition programs will take place on the Tisza River bank of the city, at the Huszár Mátyás Quay, the press announcement says.
